Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 5 August 2026

MOTURN is a community for motorcycle riders. It is not intended for children, and it is not a place where the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child will ever be tolerated. This page sets out what we prohibit, how anyone can report it to us, and what we do when they do.

What is prohibited

The following are forbidden anywhere on MOTURN — in profiles, ride and event descriptions, place listings, reviews, community pages, and private or group messages:

There is no context in which this content is acceptable, and no appeal process that restores it.

Who may use MOTURN

Our Terms of Service require every account holder to be 18 or older, and everyone confirms this when they sign up. Accounts we have reason to believe belong to a child are removed.

How to report

Every ride, place, community, review and rider profile in the app carries a report control — the flag icon in the header of the item. Reports go directly to our moderators and reach us by email as they are filed; no report waits for a queue to be checked.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to use the app, to report this content to us. Write to hello@moturn.app with a link or a description. Reports concerning a child are read before anything else.

Riders can also block another rider directly, which stops all contact between the two accounts immediately and independently of any decision we make.

What we do about it

We apply automated checks to text as a first pass, deliberately tuned to be conservative so that it assists human review rather than replacing it.

Point of contact

Questions about this policy, and enquiries from platforms, regulators or law enforcement, should go to hello@moturn.app. This address is monitored by the people responsible for moderation at MOTURN.

Compliance

These standards are maintained to comply with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, Apple's App Store guidelines, and applicable child protection law in the jurisdictions where MOTURN is available. Where local law imposes a stricter obligation than this page describes, the law governs.
